Rebecca’s wedding was held at a rural Georgia winery, which made for a wonderful setting, and she was an amazingly calm bride. In the midst of getting ready, she paused for the briefest of instants to share this moment with her sister. —Chris Ocken
Kim and Chris had their wedding at a downtown hotel, and they wanted to bring in the atmosphere of Chicago. So, between their ceremony and the reception, we hopped in a cab and went for a walk in Lincoln Park. On the way over, I noticed this billboard, and on the way back I crossed the street so I could photograph them as they passed by. This is one of their favorite images. —Chris Ocken
Kirsten’s wedding was a rollicking party, with all her friends from University of Arkansas there to celebrate. These ladies were serious about their battle for the bouquet, and their energy made them a joy to photograph. —Jennifer Ocken
This little flower girl hid from my camera throughout the day’s preparations. She was so shy. But just before she walked down the aisle, she finally forgot I was around and absorbed herself in admiring her dress and spinning for her mother, the maid of honor. —Jennifer Ocken
Chad and Ashley reminded themselves—and everyone else—over and over that it’s good luck to have rain on your wedding day. We heard a steady drum of drops during the ceremony, but the clouds cleared off as they arrived at the reception, and the water all around made the atmosphere that much more beautiful. —Chris Ocken
